I don't really buy this reasoning, seems arbitrary, particularly the second. There's a pretty decent-sized shoujo/josei horror niche, I don't think it's fair to remove that stuff just because it doesn't fit the mold. If there's consensus, I'll obey, but for now I'm keeping those.

How can you say that when there's the implication that 3 of the dragons will die very young? Their predecessors were dead by what, 35? It actually disturbs me. Jae-ha is already 25.

There's also the question of whether Hak will kill Soo-won or not. Given the mangaka she probably wouldn't. Are they just gonna be wanderers the rest of their lives, or confront Soo-won? I don't even see how they could have a co-rule agreement worked out since Soo-won said Hak killed the king and that they're both dead.

I heard a fantheory that Soo-won and Yona are both half of the reincarnation of Hiryuu. How the dragons reacted to him and how competent a ruler he is also lends credence to it. That would be interesting.

My bad, didn't realize it was there already. Usotoki is a really good series about solving mysteries with a small supernatural twist. Slow-paced, mostly episodic, but keeps the continuity. The characters are very charming, especially Kanoko and Iwai.

About the other series, yes it's that Hijiri. Compared to Heptagon, it's more of a comedy about two sisters. The older one is a terrible person that unknowingly brings good fortune to everyone, and the younger one who has to deal with her personality and fickle wishes. The humor is spot on and never gets old in my opinion.

For josei Chikutaku Bonbon is adorable too, but sadly translations have been halted for a while.

Well it looks like you cut (or you plan to cut) most of the ones I had issues with already. The only 'bad' series that really sticks out is ore monogatari, that really needs to go.
I thought Banana Fish was mediocre at best, I guess you're just including it because it's a type of manga that's not common in shoujo manga?
As for the fantasy adventure manga, aside from Basara which is great the rest all have some issues, but I like fantasy adventure manga and it's hard to choose between them.
There's several series I've yet to read and I suspect that's the case for most posters. I think it would be nice to reconvene and discuss in a week or so once everyone has read the rest.

Partially that, but I've also seen a lot of people who enjoyed it more than I did. I liked it more than Yasha, which is her other one people seem to like (aside from Umimachi, which gets glowing praise but isn't translated).
