Life is great

The scene where Gran Torino complains about kids these days with their cell phones doesn't really work because this takes place over 100 years in the future, meaning everyone, including Gran Torino himself, grew up using cell phones all the time.
It sometimes feels like Hori forgets that this series is supposed to be set in the future and just treats everything like modern day Japan only with superheroes and occasional robots and holograms.
