When you watch something with subtitles you're going to miss a lot of what's going on, no matter how fast you can read. Then again, you don't really need subtitles that much if you can already understand what is being said. If you're going to whine about dubs then you might as well shit on subs too.

I marathon-ed the One Punch Man Mexican dub on Netflix and I can confirm it was god-tier. Hopefully they licence it for public TV so more people get to enjoy it.

to be fair I find watching Mexican dubs better when the team is taking most liberties with the material. unfortunately younger teams tend to miss the point and translate from English dubs, loosing all context of the original making it sound awkward.

I've been studying Japanese for a year now and the mistakes I find occasionally from the dubs often baffle me.

A few years ago when a channel called ZAZ still existed there was Inazuma Eleven, Idaten Jump, Eyeshield 21 (which I think is still on some sports channel), Kenichi, Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's and Deltora Quest, all of them dubbed (I don't know which countries dubbed these series though).
