There's only one domestic BaldFat fic I actually like and the title is Brighter on Ao3. There are things that bothered me (the Yurio subplot, but then became ok), but the growing tension on BaldFat on each chapter is well-written. And there's porn, just not explicit.

I hate how people treat this nigga's mafia story like the second coming of fanfic Jesus Christ. I read it out of curiosity one day and I regret every single moment of it. The narrative is over expository to the point of absurdity, the writer has NO knowledge of anything organized crime related outside of fast cars and black suits and guns maybe and the fuck scenes aren't even that well written, plus they make Bald into some sort of multimillionaire yandere than can somehow pull shit that they need at very convenient points in the story out of his ass. I don't know if these people that praise this pile of fuck have genuine shit taste or don't know better but the bottom line is that this fanfic is awful and you shouldn't read it. Avoid it like the plague.

Honestly the only good thing to come out of this trainwreck is Pig getting yakuza tattoos and somehow the author still manages to completely ruin that.

If you want a good mafia au, I highly recommend Separation Anxiety. I came across this by complete accident on ao3 because I clicked it by mistake. It's depressing as fuck, just as a crime drama is supposed to be.
