Sonic is intentionally set up as a future ally, it is extremely obvious. Saitama is basically forming a superhero team without meaning to.

OPM's format is a bit off from a weekly manga like E21 and I think it's affecting Murata's workflow. He's not synchronised with whatever schedule or deadlines he's given, and there's probably communication problems between him and ONE. Think of it like driving a car in the wrong gear.

I think ONE said he didn't have confidence drawing women and that is why there are so few.
Interesting that during the martial arts arc, one of ONE's sketches has him adding "make this girl cute" as an instruction to Murata. Basically telling him not to use the default ONE face.

Yeah, Oda doesn't really have to do much. He draws the main characters and side characters if they are the main focus. Otherwise his assistants do everything. 3 work weeks out of a month isn't too taxing.

You can start whenever. It takes work sure but drawing is a learned skill not in inbred talent. Learn the basics and keep practicing and eventually you can draw well. Being able to draw anime/manga style shit is one of the lowest benchmarks you can hit as an artist. Not to say that mangaka aren't good artists just that anime/manga in general is simplified for easy reproduction.
