I think it would have been amazing if it was divided into two seasons with 25 episodes each like Code Geass. Most characters besides Shoe were way underdeveloped, and they didn't do a very good job at explaining a bunch of plot elements.

But I enjoyed it for what it ended up being.

Tomboy's are overrated. I usually find them to be loud and obnoxious characters. Also, I find it strange what traits/hobbies apparently make girls tomboys. (at least in works of fiction)

Can't cook = tomboy
Plays video games = tomboy
Hair shorter than shoulder length = tomboy
Wears less than 5 layers of make up = tomboy
Gets along with guys = tomboy
Participates in ANY sport = tomboy

Excessively long hair is a sign the girl is a high maintenance whore. Short-mid length hair is superior in every way.
