Is it any surprise that both of the worst moments in the franchise belong to Ono? if he gets a third series we already know how it'll end up.

To those of you who say 5Ds wasn't that bad, fuck you, it had the same issue Arc-V did, it ruined all the characters into parody's of themselves, shoehorned a character just because his cards sold, alienated old players with a tone of overwhelming effects and complicated combos and ended in the laziest ways explaining absolutely nothing vital and having the characters just role with it. In fact, the only positive things they have are their OSTs both of whom have unreleased tracks to this day!

Vrains is so far in GX tier but if this duel is a sign of things to come, it'll quickly reach Zexal and DM level of decent.

I liked GX but yeah Neos are terrible. Very few archetypes that came out then are still good or wasn't trash from the beginning. 5D's has worst protag Jesus Fudo so it doesn't count imo, Arc-V could've been better than Zexal if it wasn't for everyone stopped giving a fuck. 4kids is now 4K Entertainment. I think the only thing they do anymore is dub Yu-Gi-Oh, and Konami has required that they can dub the series ONLY if they dub the entire thing. Yeah...some others have already mentioned this, but VRAINS is kinda ass. I was hyped in Episode 1 but then I saw the garbage animation and that killed all my hype (5Ds has better animation and it aired in 2008). After that, I only decided to stick around to see if Ema and Aoi would turn out to be top-tier waifus, but then Aoi's coma immediately sidelined her and it looks like we are never going to get a duel with Ema. I was even hyped for Yusaku at first because of the "Lelouch" type personality - but Yusaku can't pull it off. He doesn't have the charisma, he comes off more like those antisocial manchilds who play Pokemon on their DS in the open - an autist. I'm gonna keep watching VRAINS, but my hype is long gone. Here's hoping the "tournament" arc is after this Revolver 5-parter and more new characters get introduced cuz I'm bored as fuck.
