Mitsuhashi vs Onizuka

I know Onizuka is basically superhuman but Mitsuashi is basically male delinquent Urumi but more of an ass.

I like Mitsuashi more as a character/person but Onizuka is fucking insanely strong. Mitsuashi fights dirtier than Onizuka (which is already pretty dirty) but I don't think it can offset the raw strength and plot armor that Onizuka has.

My problem with Delinquent manga is that they get repetitive after awhile

I think pic related and GTO is the only ones I've finished all the way through (would also say YYH as it is technically a delinquent manga dressed as a battle shounen but it probably doesn't count). It goes with sports manga and shoujo manga as series that I like reading but always drop it half-way through.

Just finished reading Crows, and holy shit that was amazing. Bouya Harumichi is up there with my favorite protagonists.
How does the sequel Worst live up to its predecessor? I've tried Crows Zero but that's one big pile of rancid shit in comparison.

Why do delinquent manga never resolve their romance? Both KKOW and Cheeky Angel leaves it open, and apparently Rokudenashi Blues leaves it open too.

Paradise Lost apes most of its storylines from the original GTO, features none of the original cast aside from the vice-principal and Onizuka in prominent roles, replaced Fuyutsuki with another teacher love interest (despite showing she still teaches at the same school), and a lot of the wackiness and craziness of GTO has been replaced with fighting as solutions.

I wouldn't say KKOW does. Both are in committed relationships. They just got out of HS so don't rush them to the altar. I didn't like the main pair in cheeky angel so I'm glad about that one though.
As for your question it probably has something do with the genre's underlying message of living free and dying hard. Can't do that with a bitch at your side, only your best mates.

Have you read it recently? That's not the case at all. They still have the wackiness but it seems uninspired and obvious. Like the Family arc solution seemed derivative of a bunch of different cons Onizuka had pulled before.
