Shortly after the level 4 akuma ARC this shit went bizarre. New characters, random artstyle changes, no idea where the story is going. I wish it had stayed as it was, it was a decent (but not great) manga.

It must be really popular in nipland, given how long the original anime ran and a sequel, plus hoshino gets in on some big money gigs. I didn't care for much if valvrave, but it probably paid her well given the relatively high production values.

the art change after the hiatus has thrown me off entirely, things were already complicated enough

I enjoyed the whole reveal about the count identity, but aside from that the manga became quite hard to follow.
