That's exactly what I did. He helps a ton because most of the enemies are in a circle at the beginning and so Ice just wipes them out. The only real problem is Kars. He kills each of my units in like 2 hits and it also doesn't help that he's super fast now.
I was hoping for there to be some scenes that give more damage to Pillar Men/make them weaker or something. God I wish I didn't have terrible luck with pulls in this game.

I'd really like to see a Jojo part set in the 60's and 70's during the cold war, where both the US and Soviet Union has teams of stand users, ripple users, and vampies in proxy wars against each other.

If you have 4* Old Joseph (or any Hamon user), try using their SP to stun Kars with Hamon and switching to someone else like Okuyasu to delete him with def ignore.
For Minds, you could use some Movement Speed to try to outrun Kars while you kite him with someone like Josuke's Ranged Skill.

Kakyoin art thing was just a stylistic flourish, he doesn't actually have voodoo powers he just did it while HG slashed Jotaro's leg to look cool even though no one was watching because Kakyoin is like that.

As for Hermit Purple, Part 4 is the only completely ad-libbed Part where he just made it all up as he went and he just thought that'd be too simple. You can headcanon that it would have given vague hints like how the pics of Josuke they got were all in shadow and surrounded by Angelo's Stand to warn of imminent danger so the pics they got of a guy he'd never seen before who was hiding in another man's body would be useless, but really he just thought it would be too easy.

He doesn't actually forget things very often, at least not hing s like that. It's usually stuff like a character's age where they're introduced as say 33 then later on they're 34 and then even later they're back to 33, stuff like that. His main issue lies in that he plans to make a plan rather than actually plan which is why there's inconsistencies in his stories at times. He gets really into the current fight or plot thread and doesn't think things through fully before implementing them then reaches a point later on where he's contradicted himself because he got too excited and jumped the gun on certain things. It's the most glaring in 4 because it was literally just made up as it went along. He gets better at planning as the series goes on though, the next few Parts are pretty coherent outside a few moments and the current Part is actually seeming like he planned it all out before writing it and it's coming together really well.

I had an idea for a stand. How about a stand that can change the speed in a certain area. The user could do such things as slow down an attacker, throw something really quickly, create a barrier, or even move so quickly they become invisible to the naked eye. I picture them as a mysterious loner, silently travelling the world. I imagined a scene where he wanted to attack a guy on a biycycle, so he slowed down the speed around the foot of the driver of a nearby bus while it was pressed down on the accelerator, so the driver crashed into the guy on the biycycle. Then the stand user would slow the speed of things around the bus during the crash, walk up to the guy getting hit, and rapidly beat him while he's defenceless.

Then he looks behind the heroes and realises the the stand user who can change the speed of things is behind them. Knowing this, and realising that he is about to die, he begins screaming like a maniac, much to the confusion of the heroes. Then they see him fly backwards, seeing the faint outline of something attacking him. They would go over to him to find his body crushed and severely damaged. Idk, it's just a stand idea I had. It's pretty OP, I know. I still need to think of a weakness for it.

Everyone except Pucci gets a good end at the price of not remembering their old lives. Except Emporio, he remembers everything.

It's a reference to Uzumaki but also it was based on the idea of altering someone's perception SO HARD that what they believe becomes true. It's a cool idea for an apocalyptic ability, making someone believe in something so strongly it becomes real purely because of their belief. However because Part 6 was always planned as the last Part of the original series he wanted it to go out with a bang and that wasn't good enough for the penultimate battle, he needed to make it as bizarre as possible. Interestingly she's still got a character sheet in the latest volume (14), though it still uses the same pic of her from the second volume and has no alterations to the already short bio. Araki must still be planning something for her, but who knows what it could be. Tsurugi was 2 originally in his first appearance but that was retconned so he could be more active in the plot. Mitsuba was probably going to be acting on his behalf and the arcs involving Tsurugi might have used her instead. He's probably been trying to work her into the story again but without fucking up all the other plotlines he has planned. Everything she was originally intended for has been taken on by Tsurugi since the age-up, so he has to be careful with what she does and who she interacts with and how she fits into the complex relations going on. The only time she's had to show up since her last appearance (first chapter of the Aishou fight) was during the beetle fight where she was unimportant and Josuke ran away anyway, and the chapter where Kaato gets home where neither her nor Tsurugi were present likely because Jobin is still trying to kill Josuke and like with Damo he doesn't want his family caught in the crossfire when he's using such drastic measures. That said, I'm wondering where Tsurugi and Mitsuba are at the moment, last we saw Tsurugi was at the start of the Karera arc where he wanted to go to the stadium immediately to find the Rokakaka Aishou stored there, but let Yasuho and Josuke have some alone time on the pretense that they'd go the day after. He never ended up telling them about it and hasn't been seen since. I'm expecting them to go to the stadium once Tsurugi shows back up, Jobin probably has him staying with Mitsuba's family so he stops messing around with Josuke. Maybe we'll get an arc where he's trapped in the house and Mitsuba's Stand prevents escape like Jail House Lock or something? Tsurugi has to outsmart his mother and get out of the house to meet up with Josuke and Yasuho who conveniently forgot about him.

Part 7 and 8 are in a completely different universe to the end of 6. 6 was the grand finale and ties up the plotline of DIO's legacy so it technically ended at Part 5 with all the Part 6 characters getting good ends instead. 7 was a new series at the start but renamed JoJo soon after because it still used Stands (because Araki liked them and found them super versatile in writing and decided that if it ain't broke don't fix it) and characters were named after old characters as references, with the protagonists being a Joestar and a Zeppeli. That was kind of blatant though so eventually he said fuck it and it was Part 7 and a reboot. There's a reference to Emporio in Part 8 though, two even. The first is his hat inside a hat shop in the second chapter and the second is a random kid in a recent chapter who wears his outfit and is the first victim of a Stand attacking Josuke.

Tsurugi was stated to be 2 in the magazine release then 9 in the volume release, which has been generally accepted to be so he can have actual agency in the plot. Given how his early depictions always had him with Mitsuba and she stopped appearing even in backgrounds around when he became relevant lead me to believe that her role had been more or less replaced with his. The one at the end of Part 6 is exactly the same as 1-5 only 6 didn't happen because Pucci didn't exist. 7-8 don't happen in that universe because events progress differently before the point Pucci was born and none of the same characters appear, though they share names in a lot of cases. 7-8 is completely unrelated to the ending of 6.

Yeah, that's why I mentioned it being the generally accepted explanation. It could really have been anything and I'm just guessing based on what feels most likely to me. Part 8 has actually been surprisingly consistent so far actually, there have been minor changes and 'dropped' plotlines so far are still poised for a comeback at any moment given how each arc answers one question, raises 20 others, then moves on to another element entirely and is still doing so after 6 years. It's probably going to be just random seemingly unrelated and resolved plot points until the final arc where it all ties together and transcends into something batshit but that also makes perfect sense.

The flashback cut early. We still don't know how the publisher's mark ended up on Kira's arm when he died without it, and exactly how Josuke was formed. In the flashback Josefumi's body breaks apart to save Kira's body, but in the present day when they unearth Gappy it's Josefumi's body repaired with bits of Kira's + a second set of balls instead. More went down after that for sure, possibly involving flashback man.
