Toei is the only studio that has free lunch for their staff. Their working conditins are a bit better than a lot of the studios out there. I don't like many Toei anime, and I think most of them are trash but at least they treat their animators ok.

One Piece. As big as Dragonball was back in the day, the amount of laziness that Oda's long running series showed could be put on a long running show is unforgivable

Reused animation allows for more time for other scenes. Given the nature of this tournament, it'll relieve the animators for a bit, though with the death of Universe 9, they won't be able to use them again.
