No, it starts out fine but gets stale.

I'm still hoping Elias has been slowly mindbroken by her slay vega power (he doesn't get the full effect because he's pseud-fae), because the dude has been alive for 100s of years but for some reason living with an emo teen for awhile has given him emotions? Nah.
Also, in the beginning he was such an interesting character with all sorts of mysterious shit going on. Now he's just toilet paper for an emo teen. Elias' master has taught Chise more than Elias has too, so it's not like you can say she's truly his apprentice or anything (nor does she seem that interested in impressing him).

He's some sort of hybrid half-human, half-fae that might have been a magical accident an alchemist did to himself, but Lindel's master doesn't seem to think it went down like that so it's kind of up in the air. The fae folk think he's a freak and a mongrel but he's got undeniable power so they don't fuck with him. He also used to eat people in the deep dark past.

its setting is really promising and the first few chapters felt kino. however it quickly descended into a feel good shoujo shit story with the same old tropes. still kinda worthy reading if you don't mind those.
