Pretty much the same for Ping Pong.

But, anyone with taste would care about the manga more than anything and compare that art style to the anime if you really wanted to have a discussion.

Rotoscoping is fucking hideous. Animation is supposed to be stylized and lifelike. But rotoscoping is mimicking it to the point of uncanny valley. It looks horrible in 2D, and it's a crutch that 3D animators use to avoid doing actual work.

Gabriel Dropout's artstyle is so fucking bland it felt dated even as it was airing. It may not be hideous but it's the one I've hated the most in some time.

Some anime (Mekaku shitty actors, Dog and Scissors, etc) look way worse but it's because of QUALITY and not necessarily the designs.

But the truly ugliest artstyle I've seen is Dragon Ball, if you don't count uguu~ era designs.
