The most disappointing moment was learning that the author was told to end the manga. So, maybe this particular fight wouldn't have been so short (even though it further established Mio as being above her colleagues).
Some of those short extra chapters (from the volumes) could also have been normal chapters instead, and we never got to see Nozomi vs. Mio.

Fuck I would have killed for the story to revolve around Slaine and Rainet rather Asshime and Orange. Seriously, I don't get how the Nips can fuck up this badly.

Just kill Inaho off, make his sister nuclear, have Rainet take the role of protagonist, make Slaine a wreck of PTSD and guilt for his part in the death of the princess, don't introduce another princess and have the crew get some personality beyond being Inaho's cheerleaders.
