Is KyoAni dying? Could Violet Evergreen save them?
Maid Dragon and Phantom World sold like shit because they were shit.

>Maid Dragon
>flop
Here we go again.
>>159515488
Apparently they still manage to be profitable so that's a good sign. VEG will probably sell decently at worst so for now at least they should be safe.
>>159515488
Maybe they should stop adapting trash source material for a while.
>>159515488
They're a lot better at managing budget/resources than pretty much every other studio and only really adapt their in-house LN trash, meaning that the bar for success (in terms of BD sales) is a lot lower than everyone else.
Like what >>159516081 said they're still profitable hence they're not really dying.
KyoAni is dead.
>>159515488
All those money goes into their pocket.
Not counting merchandise, license, even the anime source itself.
>>159516081
I'm somewhat disappointed to see that you haven't killed yourself yet
>>159515488
>still trying
>>159515488
>still think KyoAni is dying
>Maid Dragon turns a profit
>Koe no Katachi was bad bucks for them
Trying way too hard.
>>159515488
Its possible
>>159521397
>Revenue keeps increasing
>Just got a new building
>Jumping to the movie business
>Hiring and training animators
I don't know, I think they're thriving.
Memes aside, doesn't Gross matter more than muh discs?
>literally one flop in 14 years
>hurr durr are they dying
