Azazel fell off the face of the earth after his plan failed, rotting in some torture dungeon somewhere. Kaisar and Nina got thrown in prison for treason, they met Favaro and Jeanne there, tried to bust out, then that failed, then Rita broke in and helped them bust out and this time it succeeded, but mostly because the prison they were in sort of exploded. Now Kaisar is back in prison, Favaro is MIA again, Nina and Jeanne are on the lamb and currently trying to catch a ride to heaven so they can find Mugaro/El.

Azazel was not storming the castle to revive Bahamut, he was storming the castle to retrieve Amira in order to PREVENT Beelzebub from reviving Bahamut. That's the whole plot twist of season 1, Amira and Favaro were unwittingly being used to revive Bahamut the whole time while both demons and angels were trying to prevent it from happening, while also being played against each other by the primary antagonist.

Most of the dragons we've seen so far have just been adolescent ones, either the dragon kids or Nina herself, who still isn't really an adult yet.

Granny's the only dragon we've seen up till now that we KNOW was made by an adult, we don't even really know whether those dragons flying in the forest were adults either. Seems to be like granny might just be a stellar example of an adult dragon, but not necessarily the only huge dragon that exists because of bloodlines or whatever.

Eh, I guess those who know about them just understand that they basically just keep to themselves, they're pretty isolated, and, aside from Nina, they seem to have perfect control over their transformations, so they wouldn't cause a fuss or be dangerous to others.

I was thinking more along the lines of what >>159505784 was implying. You've got an entire village populated by people who are essentially each their own army. I'm surprised Cheerios or other gloryhounds haven't tried to track them down. Either they're secretive outside of contact with nearby non-dragon villages (maybe due to desperation as more and more dragonfolk have to leave) or they're too distant to trek to and verify rumors.

Their friendliness with strangers (even sketchy people like Favaro) explains everything about Nina.

I really enjoyed this episode. Jeanne seemed so human and the village was nice too.
I wish next week plot progresses though.

This is the best fantasy series I've seen in ages, it's a crime how little attention the nips are paying to it.
