Watched the Castlevania on Netflix today. All I could think was that it was the kind of adaptation that Berserk really deserved instead of the godawful CGI thing. Only one way the series will end at this point. Casca is going to get her sanity back, and then be unable to deny the horrible truth. She is actually in love with Griffith even after everything, and doesn't really think she was raped at all. She then leaves elfheim to rejoin Griffith and doesn't care about Guts at all. This causes him to completely lose his mind. The gang tries to go and fix his psyche a la Casca but have much worse results.Guts is brought back but is not the same at all and he decides he must kill Griffith and that nothing else will bring him peace. Well he goes and gets to Griffith who just one shots him and then the story ends. Griffith winning is the only happy ending there is here, after everything he has had to suffer through in his life he deserves this much.
