watch this be a ccg chapter.
Did akira give a shit that haise was getting fucked up? Or was this reaction only because she heard takizawa?
>there are people who honestly believe that Kaneki won't die at the end of the series
I don't get it. He finally sorted things out with Touka. He fucked her, impregnated her and now they're pretty much husband and wife. He has a legacy on the way and now he's confirmed to be fatally ill with no hope to recover. All he can do is prolonging his inevitable death by constant cannibalism and by refusing to use his ghoul powers which he absolutely can't do as the OEK.
At this point it'd be a total hack move to not kill him off at the end.
And who will replace him? Everyone else is faceless and bland compared to him. Maybe if they'd been slowly building up a new mc but no one even comes close.
There are definitely a lot of things pointing towards Kaneki dying, I just don't see anyone who could replace him
Who says someone needs to replace him? I don't think the series will continue when Kaneki dies. He'll achieve everything he wanted, possibly see his child being born and then he'll die peacefully.
No need for some retarded TG:Next Generations garbage.
I just like to see things resolved. The story revolves around ghouls, I don't want it to end just like that, with the protagonist dying and everyone just waiting to get fucked by Furuta and the rest.
He's probably bi, and honestly probably so is Ishida. Ishida said he gave uta similar hobbies to him and he drew him eating a dick. Ishida a lot more than other mangaka likes to put a lot of stuff like gays and things like that. Amons name even means anal beads. And his previous work is the penisman.
Who says Kaneki will die before getting rid of the threat that is Furuta and the clowns? That wouldn't make any sense.
The last chapter confirmed that he's aging fast but that doesn't mean he's at death's door yet.
I wish, but no. I'd be fine with her dying, Kaneki surviving, and living out the remainder of his days in peace while never being shown his death at thr series end. See MGS4.
There is no definite proof that the cat and dog poem refers to Touka and Kaneki. There are too many inconsistences. The rotten womb may refer to any other woman pregnant with a half ghoul, of which there may be several right now.
I never thought Mustuki was that bad before she went crazy, just kind of boring. It was always the fanbase projecting the whole trans thing on her and refusing to understand what Ishida was going for that made the opinion of her worsen, especially around here.
Kaneki took her entire lower body when he fought her, including her uterus. The uterus has a finite amount of egg cells and the body cannot produce more. Eto lost all of hers.
Subspecies can breed with each other, for example dogs and wolves, and polar bears. Anyway, idk if ghouls are a seperate species or a subspecies of human, so I can't make much of an argument.
That actually makes a lot of sense now that I think about it.
Far from it. Hybrid fertility depends on the species and age. Mule males for instance, are fertile. In fact they're overly horny to the point that they are unruly and hard to deal with, so people always castrate them.
Now that I think about it, if a ghoul can regrow the entire lower part of its body, how can't it regrow some egg cells?
For example, its obvious that Eto can still feel sensations on her lower portion of the body when she regrew her legs. Which means that her nerve cells must have regrowth as well. The nerve cells are notorious for taking an extremely long time to regrow, or don't regrow at all. This is the key, if she was able to regenerate her cells then obviously she could still be fertile.
Jesus I'm reading too much into this.
>Jesus I'm reading too much into this.
Pretty much everyone is. Whenever we get a new chapter people try to look into the panels searching for muh parallels and symbolism. In the end they come up with the most ridiculous bullshit.
I wouldn't even be surprised if that poem meant fucking nothing in the end.
One of the arguments against interbreeding (in general) is the fact that the resulting offspring will have an unpredictable and chaotic temperament.
The body does not grow additional egg cells ever. They are formed very early in the development of a child from primitive cells that no longer exist in a grown person.
>Pointing out your blatant headcanon makes me an Etofag.
Does a person even need to like Eto to get labled this shit at this point? And I don't give a shit about Touka one way or the other or her would be children, so you can fuck off with the shipping faggotry. All I'm telling you is to stop forcing this headcanon every fucking thread.
I SWEAR I will drop this series if Touka dies! First Eto, and now her! Ishida I will not let this shit stand!!
>I SWEAR I will drop this series if Touka dies!
Touka dying would be a good reason to pick this series back up. Especially if you dropped it at Cochlea, when this manga took a turn for the worst which just so happened to coincide with her reintroduction.
I didn't understand something.
What was the point of Arima's and Eto's plan? To have Kaneki become the OEK by killing Arima thus rising ghouls trust & hope on Kaneki and decreasing the humans hope since their symbol of peace died by the hands of a ghoul that betrayed them?
What about the Washuu don't Arima nor Eto care about them? If Arima didn't want Washuu to exist why not just kill Furuta in a way no one would find out?
Also exactly what does Furuta want? And why did he kill his own family?
>why not just kill Furuta in a way no one would find out
>implying anyone can kill the Tokyo Ghoul himself
Is there a single more satisfying moment than Kaneki btfoing Urie when he was acting like a smug cunt again?
>crippled an investigator
>got a bunch of ghouls killed in order to save one (1) human, who then left their group and took another powerful ghoul with her
>moved his people underground, where they now starve
>broke some quinques
>did not take the opportunity to kill Furuta before he went into his ghoul genocide phase, despite having the perfect chance to do so
>is about to run into a trap to save one (1) human all over again
Has Kaneki done even one thing right as the OEK?
Why am I still a Kanekifag? He catched the Kirishitma cancer and is dying because of it. He'll be getting more and more bland until he fades into nothingness. Is he even still Kaneki? He's like a brainless puppet.
>touka becomes a new rize (whore, glutton, seductress)
>lures in beta humans to get ghoul'd
>kanou is still around but he is half Arima now so he somehow stops aging
>Touka teamed with kanou to create more kanekis
>Manga ends with Touka putting on a clown mask
>"the clowns always get the last laugh."
>Tokyo ghoul: end
I like the idea of Touka becomin the MC, she gets stabbed by Suzuya, Kaneki rages and attacks him but gets killed because he is too weak, Touka then kill a wounded Suzuya but loses the baby.
The whole chapter is like a recap of the final battle.
Kaneki together with GOAT and remaining surface ghouls raided CCG, killed and maimed many Oggai and dozens of investigators.
The corpses of the fallen, ghoul and human alike, were consumed and became Kaneki's strength to continue fighting.
He forced Furuta to fight and reveal himself. Furuta had to flee. He left CCG in shambles and without a leader.
In his absence the shady dealings of CCG, the truth of the Washu and the Sunlit Garden and its parent organization V came to light.
Kaneki somehow managed to return to ward 24, where he lived out his final days. The ghouls were able to get food once again with CCG crippled and unable to respond.
CCG was slowly dismantled over time, with some staff being taken by other agencies, others joining a mercenary organization.
Mutsuki escaped, Ui was brought to court for conspiring with the ghouls and was executed for treason. Kanou disappeared and hasn't been seen since.
Kaneki died in his sleep 3 weeks after his twin sons were born, they were named Hayate and Hidenori, the latter in memory of his best friend.
Two novels were announced. Tokyo Ghoul - Last Stand and Tokyo Ghoul Chrysanth. Epilogue chapter in the final volume.
So I've been away from TG from a while and tried reading a few of the newer chapters. I have a question tho and I hope you guys can answer me this. Where is Eto? Also Frututa isn't really the new antagonist right...?
This guy and he did it with a normal kagune
THIS! Itori is the hottest TG character, even Eto can't beat her. Kaneki should have exterminated that pussy desu.
It's still the best most op kagune we've seen so far. While Eto fended off all these quinques at the Anteiku raid like it's nothing Kaneki cut through her kakuja like butter with a single strike.
Also it has superior healing as well. It's naturally top tier.
>Implying is wasn't both Touka and Itori.
Itori hasn't revealed that she is pregnant. Probably because of the shock of seeing Kaneki's cockuja being fully formed.
Kaneki likely isn't dying but is getting ready to molt instead. After a centipede starts growing it needs to shed it's old skin to reach maturity. Kaneki will go full kagune lifeform after he sheds his humanity.
Read the fuckin Demian by Hermann Hesse. This quote is from that book, “The bird fights its way out of the egg. The egg is the world. Who would be born must first destroy a world. The bird flies to God. That God's name is Abraxas.”
There are a lot of paralels with this book and TG series.
Where's Kanou and Kurona?
Where's Amon, Takizawa, and blond chick?
Where's Rio, Scarecrow, and Sachi?
Where's Ape, Dog, and Marude?
Who is Kaiko?
>"Who the fuck are they?"
>"This story is about Kaneki (a whiny faggot) the OEK (a title that he didn't earn, want, or deserve). His wife Touka (boring Mary Stu) is also a main character.
>"I cant wait to draw the mastermind Furuta (underdeveloped, Villian Stu, with a nebulous, bordering on non-existent goal"
What is Ishida doing? Part 1 was good and the first half of Re was great. Either he ran out of plot points or he ran out of steam. It's starting to look dangerously like Bleach.
Can someone explain ghoul vaccinations? They haven't mentioned quinque steel needles so the only method of administration seems to be the eyes. How would the baby survive underground even if it came to be born?
Ok Touken bros, we have to accept it. Touka will most likely die in the next chapters. After countless hours checking the archive, Dumblr, Leddit and some Youtube comments I’ve finally came with a conclusion. This was planned since last year by Ishida, and it was hinted by many poems, art by Ishida for each character birthday including Touka, Kaneki and Suzuya. If the madman actually delivers Touka is DEAD. After Kaneki decides to attack the CCG, maybe because he realizes he needs to gain some territory or just because he wants to save Yoriko. Touka decides to go even she is malnourished and obviously without Kaneki’s permission. A big battle occurs and Touka andn Keneki are left against Suzuya, but they clearly aren’t match for him sience they are starving. Touka receives a mortal blow from Suzuya to the stomach with which he notices he was pregnant. Kaneki goes crazy and kills Suzuya. Being broken he retreats to the 24th ward depths where he finds Eto and the original King and totally loses himself to their influence, preparing for part 3.
I feel like the story would be much better with a few changes.
Switching from Kaneki's pov would be good. He's not really compelling when he's depressed without his insanity balancing it out. Make him look more menacing or amoral during this switch. This is what made Arima so fun.
We could switch to Furuta's pov, so he isn't just some shell of a character. This could give us more plot points and flesh him out, which he REALLY needs.
Lastly, drop Touka or keep her out of the spotlight. Ishida can make really compelling side characters, but when he can't write Touka well to save his life. She doesn't have any flaws, is always right, is strong (jobber aura), and won't have anything of negative consequence happen to her, except Ayato dying (which is obvious).
Why'd I write all of this shit if nobody's gonna read it? I still like TG though.
Iwao resigned from CCG. Suzuya has a falling out with Furuta over Yoriko's case and the CCG medical expenses. Ayato learns that the owner of the giant kagune was the one eyed ghoul who left the underground city many years ago. The kagune has become hardened, but is edible. Rize shown sitting on a couch in an office, her hair has grayed and she has a blank expression, she's also pregnant. Furuta attempts to hug and kiss her in an exaggerated manner, but she cowers in fear. Kaneki arrives on the surface, he walks in on a group of thugs attempting to sexually assault a woman in a back alley and kills them, he says that he has no qualms about preying on those who prey on the weak and eats from them to regain some strength. Chapter ends.
I agree with every point you listed, anon. These suggestions would really make the story more appealing for me. Some people could do without Furuta, but as a main antagonist, his exposition is severely lacking. It would be best if Ishida eschewed from making a meme out of him as well; that honestly kills any potential chances of the audience taking him seriously.
He's definitely shitposting and isn't even subtle about his falseflagging, but the potential is there. That theory that was posted earlier about Juuzou, "the cat"/Touka, and the "Rotting womb" definitely had a shred of possibility to it.
Yeah she clearly has fucked many guys over the timeskip, it's just unrealistic otherwise. And nishiki was clearly her fuck buddy this whole time. Obviously touka just pretended to be a virgin for kaneki, did you see any blood?
No one is saying for sure it will happen. Just that some of the pieces really do fall in place.
Ok, Im falseflagging but the poems are there and the artwork also hints at that. It happened the same way as Arima vs Kaneki thats was heavily hinted with the outcome included.
>the artwork also hints at that.
Except it doesnt you fucking faggot, I already disproved this last week and I won't do it again. I bet if we didn't get chapter 125 the art work where kaneki is curled up just like pic related would've made it into your faggot post as well.
Not him, but the art is abstract and subject to interpretation. Yours falls into that category, especially since it hinges on tarot interpretation - therefore did not "disprove" anything as opposed to offering a counterargument. Personally, I do not feel these images are by any means an empirical measure of potentially quantifying Touka's death. But many are highly indicative of future suffering on Kaneki's part. Given the foreshadowing provided by the poems, one could extrapolate that this suffering is a result of loss. Touka and or the child fit that bill seamlessly.
The wing is symbolic of an ukaku, more specifically Touka's Ukaku.
It sprouting from Kaneki's back hints at the emergence of someone like him with a butterfly ukaku.
Also when you flip the image horizontally you get 19 which is the tarot for The Sun which is the most common sign of a pregnancy in tarot. The pregnancy has already been proven, so there is merit to this theory.
No im talking about thw one that foreshadowed the panel I posted, the one with kaneki without touka where he's in the fetus position and he looks depressed. Ishida simply draws kaneki depressed because he likes to, he has since pt 1. I disproved all of this shit last week.
The one with kaneki in the white robe crying blood is kaneki as 240 after the anteiku raid, Ishida drew that a long ass time ago. The one with the beam of light shining on him is when he found the will to live against arima after his talk with hide. The one with kaneki submerged in that red sea is after he got fucked up by arima and in his head as shown in pic related. The one with kaneki in the king costume is just a common drawing ishida has already drawn of kaneki 3 times because he likes it, he also drew like two other designs of kaneki in king outfits. And as for the others just because Ishida draws a solemn or edgey drawing of kaneki it doesn't imply anything, ishida's been doing it since he started tg. The only one worth considering is the recent touka image but even that isn't much to go off of nor does it really imply anything. You touka is gonna die fags are so fucking desperate, and so blatant in your false flagging.
>I disproved all of this shit last week.
I sincerely doubt you disproved anything indisputably, considering this is all interpretation like >>159484956 said, but I'm willing to hear what you have to say.
The Kaneki curled up into the fetal position came with a poem and if you take the context it was used in the manga it has some rather sinister omens.
>Father please don't hit me
Either Kaneki unintentionally harms the child. Or Kaneki is repeating what his mother did to him.
The amount of parallels to Kaneki's mother's situation, or the Kuzen and Ukina situation in recent chapters is unsettling. The story could go in many directions from here, but I doubt Ishida will kill the child. Instead I see Kaneki breaking under the pressure of being the leader of GOAT and a single father after Touka's assumed death, and in a fit of anger lashing out against the child. Thus completing the cycle and becoming the kind of person his own mother was.
There's also this which is the one with the beam of light. And the king one is just because Ishida likes the king outfit, there was that other king outfit too with kaneki and tsukiyama. He's just getting random pics and saying hurt durr proof he's sad looking which is how he's always drawn.
To retort, I am not claiming anything in affirmation. To start, I wholeheartedly agree with you that none of this buttresses Touka's impending demise, so if that is all you were you were trying to say, we are on the same page. And I say this is as someone who wants Touka dead.
All the same, I feel the key theme you are overlooking is context. Supposed homages to past artwork do not inherently disprove or corroborate anything. To ensample, the image with the ray of light piercing down on Kaneki as he looks up - while it is visually similar to the final spread in chapter 75, that's the extent of it. It has nothing to do with the context of the original which featured a certain poem. It was posted just before his memories returned. To further add to this point, Ishida illustrated Kaneki in the photo with complete white hair (its current state) when the chapter before he was "Haise" and the very next one was "Black Reaper." The poem complementing it referenced events that still have yet to occur in story. For example, you have some Etofags like >>159476912 saying that she may corrupt Kaneki. That actually is not entirely impossible given their "mother"/"son" dynamic paralleling with the Black Goat's Egg. The poem actually does hint at Kaneki killing (and regretting it, just like The Black Goat's Egg MC), as well as a rather abusive dynamic with Eto.
>The bloodstains won’t come out, no matter how many times I pour warm water on them, they won’t come out.
>Only words begin to dissolve everything, and get stuck in the drain.
>And you become unable to forgive yourself, unforgiving.
- and the rest is Kaneki being tormented by "god" (Eto), or rather a failure of one that "truly loves [him], only she doesn't know how to love."
Will it happen? Who knows. But Ishida drawing all these images of Eto's hands wrapping around Kaneki does not inspire confidence.
That said, none of that proves Touka's death. But the "corrupted" Kaneki aspect still has potential
I think Eto corrupting Kaneki matches perfectly for the 3 situations
>Kaneki losing Touka and the baby
>Stoping his degradation with some shenanigans of her Kakuhou, after all look what she did with Noro and Karen
>The Black Eggs theme about the son starting to like killing
It's all speculation but after all Kaneki already received somthing from Eto, that talking mouths on his kagune.
>truly loves [him], only she doesn't know how to love."
Wasn't that in the past tense ?
Kaneki is already corrupting and corrupted Kaneki when she made him take up the OEK mantle. His despair might just as well come from his revolution stuff going awry or starting killing humans and just all round descending into violence and hopelessness, just like Eto did, thus fulfilling that Black Goat prophecy once again.
That's what I thought. I thought it all already has been applied to him being the oek. And i think the new illustration with eto's hands on his face might also just be as simple as that.
Incidentally, when I first read the poem, I thought of her performing the same "bone" process on him she did to Karren. That's also when she took on the mantle as her "god" too, so it checks out.
Yes, it was past tense in the original. But I have to disagree. Eto has done nothing to corrupt him: he still holds fast to his ideals. In fact, you would have to argue that Arima is posthumously corrupting him as well since both he and Eto were co conspirators in the OEK plan. As far as her being his "mother", she would need to influence him to kill in order to cultivate any "corruption." Him reaching a similar conclusion on due to varying outside circumstances divorced from the "mother figure" is not the same. It needs to be Eto doing something to the effect of Tulpa-Rize convincing Kaneki to stop deluding himself with the "it's better to hurt than to hurt others" ideology. She has to distort/alter his ideals by appealing to his weakness. For example in the offchance Touka and the child actually do die, she would exploit the opportunity with her vintage:
>"The died because you were too weak."
>"You can't protect anything if you aren't willing to kill."
>"That's why you lost them."
- something akin to that. At least that is how I see her abusing the chance to mold him to her liking.
Oh, he's a former ss rate ghoul who was able to fight special classes? And he's the only one other than arima to defeat an sss rate ghoul 1 on 1 in the ccg? And he also killed arima the greatest investigator, and defeated two special classes one of which being my aunt who he cut the legs off of and who's achievements and ability are far beyond anything that i could ever hope to imagine? Leave him to me, he's my prey.
Oh , it's you. We have been over this before....
But yes I do believe Arima's influence isn't a positive one and hope that this will get acknowledged later on. I see Eto/Arima being the Rize/Yamori of :re which ties to Kaneki still being a copycat and easily influenced, not quite his own person. Maybe shedding that will be last stage of development.
>Oh , it's you. We have been over this before....
>But yes I do believe Arima's influence isn't a positive one and hope that this will get acknowledged later on.
It is not positive in the aspect of Arima shouldering Kaneki with the burden of being the One-Eyed King, I agree. But it is not comparable to the potential "corruption" I'm speaking of in light of the Black Goat's Egg. Eto's involvement with Kaneki would need to be much more direct, as described in the aforementioned poem.
"That guy" is the tokyo ghoul, and by "using him" he meant "i will be the become".
I don't fucking care about your fucking waifus, I want Don Kaneki back.
Tsukiyama. Contextually, he cannot be referring to anyone else as Banjou's group can not match them. This also fits since Tsukiyama was the one to hold them off in Kanou's lab at Kaneki's request. This was also a time where Kaneki kept Tsukiyama on a tight leash and did not trust or think highly of him, so referring to him as "ano hito" (that person) fits.
>We will never see Centipede again
>We will never see the Black Reaper again
>We will never see Kaneki's full kakuja
>We will never see what the fuck happened back in Cochlea with Aura and Mougan
Don Kaneki is not fucking coming back, you Don Kaneki fucking autists. Don Kaneki was a result of Kaneki emulating Rize and Yamori to appear strong when he did not have confidence in himself and his own abilities. He's long past that stage. He is way stronger than he was back then and he has accepted his tulpas as being nothing more than a figment of his imagination.
The absolute best you can hope for is a deranged version of edgeneki, a homicidal maniac with a smirk on his face as he butchers his victims. Basically this thing personified.
But that's not going to happen because grown ass men with responsibilities, a wife and a kid don't act like edgy teenagers.
>But that's not going to happen because grown ass men with responsibilities, a wife and a kid don't act like edgy teenagers.
HAHAHAHAHA. Kid's been dead since last July when Ishida wrote Touka's poem. And Touka's been raising too many deathflags to not trip on one eventually.
Or this thing. But Kaneki has been in such a somber mood lately that it's hard to imagine him ever going back to that phase.
Even still a vengeful, bitter widower doesn't act that way. He'll be sad and angry and murderous, he won't be a laughing sadist maniac edgy faggot like you want him to be. The recent artwork of kuroneki hints at anything but a return of Don Kanekipede. Kanekipede was weak and got his shit pushed in. You Don Kanekipede autists are projecting your desires on Kaneki and this story just as badly as the "Mutsuki is trans" LGBTards on tumblr.
This is what you can expect. Kanekipede is DEAD.
He's a dragon now.
>He'll be sad and angry and murderous, he won't be a laughing sadist maniac edgy faggot like you want him to be.
I never said I wanted him to be that, neither am I the "Don Kanekipede autist" you were originally replying to. My favorite Kaneki is actually Haise. I just find it hilarious you're still at the very least, in denial about the inevitable death of the baby.
The baby is an excellent opportunity to wrap up Kaneki's story and have it end as a tragedy, but without going overboard and skullfucking Kaneki with a quinque like in part 1.
On the flip side it can also add a different kind of dynamic to the story. In so far the one who has been lacking in parental love and guidance was Kaneki, it'll be interesting to see how he tries to be a father when he has never had a good parental figure in his life.
Whether Kaneki lives or dies the child must live too, but Touka can die, I don't care about her and he being around would actually make the family functional.
>Whether Kaneki lives or dies the child must live too,
>Her uterus smelled like it was burnt. The children who were meant to be born, died.
The kid is dead, anon. Dead. There's no way out of this.
>grown ass men with responsibilities, a wife and a kid don't act like edgy teenagers.
Well, aren't you fucking smart, Toukafag? It's not about edge for the sake of edge, it's about Kaneki becoming an interesting character again and regaining some depth he had in first part. I'm sick of seeing him rivaling in blandness with your waifu. I don't want his fucking kid or this Twilight drama. I want something bad happen to him, because maybe finally he'll learn something and get some meaningful development and won't be magically cured with a shitty family, because it doesn't work like that. He's a fucking wreck of a person.
If Touka and the baby perish, I see his personality will likely be a synthesis of Xxx_BlackReaper_xxX and Don. He will have the assertive and no-nonsense demeanor as "Don", plucking anyone who stands in his way (humans included) but he'll likely be as suicidal (if not, more) than "Black Reaper" and ultimately cry to himself well clutching Arata's/Hikari's wedding ring in the lockeroom while thinking of Touka and feel bad about all the humans he's killed. Remorse of killing humans will contribute to said suicidal urges.
How about Kaneki actually does something instead of chilling in a hole for chapters on chapters while he starves to death?
I'm not enjoying TG at the moment.
He needs to step his shit up already.
>le underage memeXD
He's still right, though. Even if it was a facade, he was a far more compelling character than the generic shounen protag he's become as of the end of Cochlea. It's painful to read. I actually have more fun reading when supporting cast members like Urie are being showcased rather than Kekneki's bland ass.
His options are limited. He's dying. Either he passes on the torch and dies. Or he goes full on scorched earth-mode, razes CCG and kills Furuta. Essentially resetting everything, like how Arima and Eto wanted.
What progression? Kaneki himself admitted that his decisions constantly revolve back and forth right after he "regained" his will to live. His only "progression" since Cochlea is using Touka as an anchor to cement himself in the world of the living. Losing Touka wouldn't negate any "real" progression as much as it would make his character more than a snorefest to read.
Cannibalism would require him to throw everything he has worked for out of the window. It'd be one thing if he consumed the bodies of his fallen friends and followers, but he can't just go out and grab a random ghoul any more.
No, anon. Starving himself to death along with his people along with letting Furuta do whatever the fuck he wants whilst killing zero investigators is good progress for Kaneki's character. If you don't like it, you just want EDGE and you should fuck off (LOL)
He doesn't have to eat a whole ghoul, he just needs a bit. We already know that some ghouls don't eat more than a few times a month ("non-active" = weak ones).
If he bites an arm/leg off the next investigator he defeats, he'd be set for some time.
And it doesn't seem like cutting off legs has been a problem for him. Same goes for ghouls, V agents, etc.
>Muh humans, i can't eat them!
>Muh ghouls, i can't eat them!
>Starving to death sounds better! it's not like the CCG would kill the remaining ghouls r-right? right!
Good job Kaneki.
>He doesn't have to eat a whole ghoul, he just needs a bit.
He needs to fully cannibalize as he did post-Aogiri, especially if he is being forced to binge on RC cells. Table scraps are not going to cut it. And it's not like he has any ghouls to feed on aside from clowns, who only appear whenever Furuta feels like trolling.
>And it doesn't seem like cutting off legs has been a problem for him.
The funny thing about this, is that it is completely out of character for Kaneki to cut off her legs. What's more, Kiyoko herself doesn't seem to place much blame on him for the act. Seeing as though it happened off panel, I really doubt Kaneki was the one who did it. He just destroys your quinque. "Something" else happened during the battle Ishida is trying to hide. Plus, feeding on non suicide victims in any capacity would destroy the image he wants for Goat. Personally, I'm not opposed to any of this. It's just that Kaneki is going to have to grow some balls.
I've read early leaks of Ishida part 3 plans. Hide returns and helps Kaneki cope with his loss. They run away from the CCG and end up in an abandoned building. Things escalate and leads to a 18 page healing sex chapter
Don't spread without giving credit please
anyone else cringe at the fact that there are people that retweet ishida scanned manga pages of tg back at him on release days? I suppose all mangaka probably already know about their shit being distributed online freely but it just bothers me.
Spoilers say that it's a ccg chapter. One scene is ccg mooks talking about the achievements of the stronger investigators. There are some fanboying over suzuya the next arima, some are talking about how well urie has filled the role of matsuri, some are saying how creepy but powerful the oggai are, and also mentioned is how aura has followed the footsteps of koutarou amon and takeomi kuroiwa by killing a ghoul barehanded. There are also those expressing dissapointment in kuroiwa.
Guy from before is a faker. It's the final chapter. Kaneki leaves ward 24 for the surface and goes missing. GOAT migrates to the deeper parts of ward 24, when the Oggai make it to the settlement they're already long gone. Time passes and Kaneki is shown inside a vat. Kanou is using him in an experiment to achieve full hybridization. At the very end Marude and Scarecrow meet with Amon and Takizawa in a dark room. Scarecrow's right eye glows and he takes off his mask, revealing himself to those present. Amon says "you are" and we get a shot of Scarecrow's face obscured by the shadows, he has single kakugan. He speaks normally and says "and now begins the final stage of my plan. but first we must retrieve Kaneki Ken". The End
Early spoilers out, spicy shit.
>He was referred to as a "King" several times already
At no point in the story was he referred to as "king." The only point in time this ghoul was ever mentioned was chapters 61, 121, and the latest few chapter of :re. The only One-Eyed "Kings" are Arima (formerly) and Kaneki.
>his kagune shits on Eto and Kaneki's and he's named after the king of snakes
This is complete headcanon. If anything, the nagas are a direct reference to Vasuki, meaning it is linked to the Washuu. So "Dragon" would be the most likely bet.
Behold! Real Tokyo Ghoul!
>Takshaka Takṣaka) was one of the Nagas mentioned in the Hindu epic Mahābhārata. He lived in a city named Takshasila, which was the new territory of Takshaka after his race was banished by Pandavas led by Arjuna from the Khandava Forest and Kurukshetra, where they built their new kingdom.
>Takshaka is known in Chinese and Japanese mythology as being one of the "eight Great Dragon Kings" (八大龍王 Hachi Ryuu-ou), amongst Nanda (Nagaraja), Upananda, Sagara (Shakara), Vasuki, Balavan, Anavatapta and Utpala.
The Washu stopped trying to create one eyed ghouls after the fiasko with the OG OEG.
Because he turned on them. Instead they opted to create enhanced humans with the strength of ghouls and to preserve the main bloodline until it was possible to create demi-humans without the defects of the current gen. The older generation of V are all ghouls who've had their kakuho removed when they were very little. Apparently it's a custom in the Washu household to do this to blend into human society and to "become humans", although they still need to eat human flesh. Also with that said the most common kagune types in the family are rinkaku and ukaku-types. True OEG have a hybrid ghoul and human physiology and can eat human food without issues. Demi-humans are failed one eyed ghouls who did not fully develop ghoul traits in the womb due to malnutrition. They have a fatal flaw that gives them superhuman strength and accelerated natural recovery, but also cuts their lifespan in half. Their cells divide at twice the rate of a normal human.
It's unironically one of the better ones we've had lately. You still have the "be the become" shitposting in small doses, but the majority of the rampant cancer (waifufags) seem to be docile or nonexistent today, which makes for comfier threads.
So who's ready for the eventual reveal that it's these worm/naaga creatures that the 24th ward ghoul kids are scared of is how Kanou is "reviving" people?
That's what Okahira meant by "you can't revive the dead" when we've literally seen him die. Because that's not Okahira. It's a kgaune monster inhabiting his body and accessing his memories. Maybe there's a little consciousness there, but not enough to take control.
Should make Hairu and Sharkbro coming back all the more tragic. It won't really be them, but it will be their corpses.
>It's a kgaune monster inhabiting his body and accessing his memories.
This time last year, I would have called you delusional. But with this new precedent of asspulls and unrepentant shit writing, anything is possible at this point.
Oh I'm right there with you don't worry.
This shit's like a train wreck. It gets worse and worse every other chapter but I can't look away. I'm just going to enjoy the wild ride at this point but not take it seriously anymore.
The real tragedy of Tokyo Ghoul is what :Re did to the original TG.
MFW the Clownposting and the Be The Become invasion will never be replicated again
>What is the entirety of the Cochlea arc?
But if you want to get into bullshit specifics as far as "feats" done in this manga that would make die hard fans of the original part 1 cringe:
>Kanou literally bringing characters back from the dead.
>Kagune Bushin no Jutsu
>Tatara breathing fire surpassing 4000 fucking degrees Celsius
Predictions for the final chapter of Tokyo GHOUL: RE(ply)
>A girdle falls on kanecki
>As his consciousness fades to ashes....he sees a figure in the sky
>It was a clown! Counting backwards in 7's....
In the end, the ones who get the last laff are us! THE CROWNxCLOWN
Senpai, us clownposters are the lifeline of TG threads
Puppets, Puppets, get your strings cut.
Puppets, Puppets, learn how to fly (no strings attached)!
Same boat. The entire first half of :re, I would quiver with anticipation each week wondering what "BASED ISHIDA" would do next. It was like a drug.
Now I'm just here to see it through to the end.
Us clownposters are misunderstood victims of profiling. Get to know us(we will destroy you all)
Ready to be excited for this chapter because I am a dedicated fan and really enjoy this manga!
