I don't know if you've read more of the series than the first episode's contents, but the characters are scientifically engineered to be the most unlikable possible people with the exception of one person- and that person is a guy. The series keeps getting worse and worse and just tries to manufacture this bizarre masochistic suffering drama at every turn. YagaKimi and even Citrus are far superior Yuri works; even if they're of spotty quality they at least understand basic storytelling enough to not just try to spam "DRAMA" every chapter.
If you're in it because you like NTR, then I don't know what to say to you other than get at least some form of self esteem/empathy?

Many people need to self insert as a character to be able to relate to and enjoy a series. However, to truly appreciate art you must view it from an outsiders objective - you must be able to ignore your personal interrests and experiences and objectively observe the themes and topics presented by the media. And herein lies the issue with NTR: the average viewer seeks only baisc enjoyment, and so they cannot truly appreciate NTR - an artform where the typical self insert characters are not present. This is why NTR can only be appreciated by an educated viewer who has taught themselves to view all media with a discerning and objective eye.
