I expected a comedy show and got a romance show so full of sugar it almost made me vomit.

I really think it's down to the director on this one. The comedic timing is just slightly off and you can tell they're trying to milk the romantic scenes over the funny ones even though it's got some great comedic banter.

The great thing about the 4koma was that the comedy was the focus of each story and it occasionally ended off with a nice romantic hint before jumping back to the punchline ending. I'm hoping that the other shorts are handled better since a lot of the best ones are yet to come.

Funny, I went in expecting a romance show and got something even better than I expected. I love me some cute short romance stories and since they're short anyway the more sugar and less drama the better. It's perfect as long as they're distinctive enough from each other.
