Not him but i've come to the conclusion that i hate anime, every season 50 shows come out, only one or two keep my interest all the way through and i usual confirm that one is trash.
I think most people on /a/ are like this, so in general we all don't like anime, just a few standouts but for the most part we can all agree it's a terrible medium.

That being said, ballroom e youkoso is the only decent show this season, everything is terrible.

I am like that too, but as I said, if you can't find one anime to interest you in a season, even if you drop it later, then why even bother? I realize that the vast majority of anime is steaming shit. I sift through that shit for the odd gem that comes about, because I think it is worth it.

I have 4 shows that am going to check out. Sure, they might all be shit, but they seem interesting on the surface.

Because most of the crap series air first for some mysterious reason. It's always like that, just how Wednesday and Tuesday are usually the days with the weakest series, whereas Thursday and Friday are good even though Japanese people are still working there.

Not him but I usually like either action shit like Bahamut or Fate (or even if it's trash like Symphogear) or those non-(anime)mainstream series only a few people even try, like that Dictionary series, Rakugo, Pingpong or Kaiba and I already know I will love Made in Abyss because dark adventures are also my thing.

In the end even when I am counting the action stuff there are still only ~7 out of 50 series that I can enjoy but that's enough for me. Just drop everything as soon as it starts boring you, it doesn't matter whether the series is good and praised or not. Watching boring shit lessens the enjoyment for other series too.

I usually never speak ill of seasonal anime, but even now I'm kind of getting tired of the constant deluge of new shit every season. Maybe a lot of it's good to decent, but after 10 solid years of hard watching, something needs to stand out to get downloaded.

I'm usually up to date on most things airing, until about a few seasons ago. Just accounting for the shows I've skipped or missed from 2011 that I have a vague interest in, that's like 50+. Shinsekai Yori, Eccentric Family, Steins;gate, stuff like that.

I never try to miss the ecchi fests, wish we got more of those in a season than "guy meets a girl, but it's a male-oriented harem LN adaptation, except there's really no hook."

I unfortunately haven't finished more than 2 shows since Fall in which I didn't complete anything. It doesn't feel good to find so little enjoyment out of anime these days. It's the gems like Tsuki ga Kirei from last season which keep me coming back, though.
