I honestly don't see this as talk-ni-jutsu, what Boruto did was completely in line with his character. Boruto is a character that value friendship and bond highly. This is a character that recklessly jump into a deep pond to save Mitsuki, someone he barely knew at that time solely because he is his classmate. Boruto know Sumire very well that she conflicted with what her dad want her to do and what herself want to do. She does hate the village, that no mistake, for their part in abandoning her parent is a major reason why both parent is dead. People that expect Boruto to just watch Mitsuki to kill Sumire must not be watching the show closely (this is a complain mainly outside of /a/). I think this is one of best arc in the series, a villain with a motive that actually make sense and her redemption fit the narrative. I have to give prop to Boruto's writer, whoever they are, their writing is much superior to Kishi. I hope Boruto continue with this quality of writing and even the fighting choreography is extremely well done.

My rating is I will continue to watch/10

When they drag out Gaiden and the movie out to episode 50-60, then there will be about 11 more manga chapters plus the 3 that came out since the anime started = 14 chapters. If they drag these out, then we'll catch up the manga by episode 70-75. Even if they do some more filler arcs in between, then they only gain 4-5 episodes of it. And I am sure the series won't end until we got at least 200 episodes (now let's face it. No way we reach Kawaki vs Boruto) in under that time.
