I know this was supposed to be a super interesting plot twist that subverts this manga from its other counterparts, but I absolutely hated it. Edgy Mary Sue kills off a guy who can literally cancel out powers as her first victim. How in god's green earth is that dangerous to the human race? I bet this shitty manga will end with the girl finding out she's been duped by whatever government gives her her orders, and she'll go in a spiraling depression over the fact that she just killed an island full of innocent high schoolers whose only real crime was being born special from anybody else.

Also, I'm just really mad that fake touma died. I was starting to like that fucker.

Also, there's the whole death count predictor she has on her phone. Where the hell do they get those numbers? It's either they made it all up, they have a super secret super computer that does calculations for even the most improbable of things, or they are also utilizing super powered individuals within the government. It would make more sense if it was the third option, considering they put such a large death count on fake touma. Does anyone else think Assassin's Pride has a early to mid 2000s feel? Like the days when Shakugan no Shana and Zero no Tsukaima were huge. The plot and especially character design really gives me such an impression.
