Anything involving A-1 turns out to be nothing but pandering with no artistic integrity, so I highly doubt it can beat Violet Evergarden in that regard. It will probably sell more since you'll have Aniplex pushing this garbage, but it won't be a better anime.

I give trigger the originality factor, their announcements always have me wondering what type of show they're making next, this is probably why everyone is so hyped, with KyoAni I know it will be an adaptation to another one of their novels. But when it comes to their shows Trigger usually disappoints and KyoAni shows at the very least are decent.
