It's a tearjerker but not much else.

The comedy can feel really out of place at times and it can get a bit too melodramatic but other than that it's a good show.

I haven't seen it but all of these series are the same. The girl will probably die or catch some crippling illness in order to cheaply bait emotion. If you want to watch trash drama stick to Plastic Memories at least that is less than 20 episodes.

It's hilarious how people claim it as one of the best drama anime out there just because the main girl fucking died. Like holy shit it was foreshadowed way back in episode 1. Decent yeah, but not good by a long shot. There are better dramas out there that doesn't need to resort to killing off their heroine.
