The character dynamics are quite different, different character tropes, and not as good VA ensemble. I can also see the gag-sports ticking some /sp/ fags so don't expect anything. Most notable one would be the whole thing shown in everyone else but Aoyama's PoV 99% of the time, a la Seki-kun.

It's totally the Saiki of Miracle/Young jump though.

Going to give it a try because premise reminded me of Sakamoto

I picked it up. It sounds interesting to have something about cleanliness in sports which is impossible to get, only ads show the sport as something clean.
Let's just hope it doesn't end like a common sport show, it should of course displays soccer time but it needs to focuses on characters and values.
