OP here. I don't know if Urusei Yatsura and Ranma 1/2 count as harem anime but they're still enjoyable. Especially Ranma which is incredibly funny no matter how many times I read it again and again. Same goes for anime like Hayate no Gotoku and Seto no Hanayome.

If you want to enjoy harems read light novels, otherwise don't bother. Anime/Manga harems are almost always trash because, for one they aren't actually harems (one girl wins) and two the romantic development never goes anywhere.

90% of animu has a harem built in to it (we'll include bishoujo stuff) , so just watch any old thing about giant robutts or magical lolis or whatever catches your fancy, and you can get your harem fix on the side.
