You know how /a/ says "this is when I dropped the show" but most of the time they're just bullshitting and they watched it all and are just lying for hyperbole? I'm not lying when I say this is the exact frame where I gave up.

This show almost would've worked as a comedy, in fact it could work as a comedy as it stands with just a few extra lines thrown in. The problem is there's absolutely no fucking self-awareness as to how bonkers everything about it is. There was even a scene after that terrorist attack where some bitch was whining, in front of her new lover, that she actually wanted the MC's dick the entire time and I had no idea who this character was even supposed to be.

I hate this show. I hate this show so fucking much. I normally don't rate show with mediocre technical competence below a 4 but this show is a fucking 2. It actively made me feel negative emotion for watching it. It's insulting on every level. I'd definitely say it juggles it's characters better than other big casts but some, like Sugar and Sad Rock, can get seriously neglected. Also I think Hori made the side characters too cool and (unlike Naruto) actually gave some of them interesting roles in the arcs so now we get impatient wondering when our faves are going to get their moment

Honestly this is one of my favourite scenes in all of anime but all these fucks talk about is All Might vs Nomu.

Problem is you can't take All Might vs Nomu as a stand-alone fight.

It's a part of the 1st Years having their first encounter with real fights vs. villains. It also showcases to the 1st Years that just being able to beat up no-body villains doesn't mean shit. How much they've got to grow.

All Might vs Nomu is less of a fight and more of a wakeup call, a show of where the ceiling is, especially to Bakugo and Todoroki.

I understand, I love the fight too. It works well, its cool, it makes great use of the music, PLUS ULTRAAAAAAA is hype as fuck. Its placement is well time, it does exactly what it needed to do when it needed to do it.

But this moment in episode 2 is where the anime itself becomes great. It's not just cool, I honestly believe the scene is genuinely amazing. I can't get enough of it.
