I find myself liking more Aqours songs than Muse songs, maybe because now the people behind LL feel safer trying more new things. However, Muse music got me hooked even though I've never cared about idolshit before.

The average aqours song beats the average muse song. Though aqours still hasn't created a "Snow Halation" yet. It feels like Omoi yo Hitotsu ni Nare was their attempt, but it doesn't compare.

Muse's discog has tons of really bad idolshit that sounds like generic touhou remixes with a couple of good songs while Aqours has a better discog influenced by western electronic genres and the doujin music scene. Galaxy Hide & Seek sounds exactly like old Alstroemeria Records/modern ShibayanRecords which is awesome.

To me Aquarium is the best single the "school idol" genre has to offer. The PV is super genki (and lewd if you're a perv) and the cheesy instrumental fits the vocals like a glove.
