I hope not. The whole appeal of the show is that Ayaka is the knight to the prince Honoka. This is the show's primary gimmick, and getting rid of it would be like getting rid of the Bell-Hestia dynamic in Danmachi (oh wait, they actually fucking did that in Sword Oratoria!).
