This episode surprised me in a good way. I thought they would have a hard time during the concert because people would definitely ditch the town's main event for the concert, but in the end they would find a way to turn the tables and make whole thing a big success.
And it seemed that way until the part with TV show where everything was edited out of context, It's obvious Yoshino isn't running away but rather planning something big to redeem herself after that fiasco.
Like I said, this surprised me because I thought the first cour would have a happy ending, like shirobako, but we got a bitter ending instead.

Ok, I liked how they showed the small fuck ups during the event, but I didn't like how the outsiders were shown. It felt like they tried to make me dislike the crowd when frankly I thought they acted decently, and things like showing the guy stomping on the coupon or the trash should have been showed as neutral consequences more than as "see how bad those people were". Yes, the girls worked hard and I am sure they wanted to be appreciate more, but those people were there for the band. I know, it sucks, but I wanted a bit more objectivity from the anime in this occasion.

The should make the concert an annual event, it worked. I mean, for fuck sake, Pink Aoi even says herself that you can't just make people come. But it's a good path, it makes the town famous, you can build on this. Longer concerts, more bands, it can't be the only path but it's a good one to start with.
