Any hype for the /pol/ /an/ime?
But what if the centaur consents to be ridden?
>>159066770
It's still a crime
>>159065806
So apparently it's animated by a Chinese studio, does this mean it will be censored like Chinese media?
>>159068582
Oh fuck
>>159068582
It's still directed by Japanese, how does Chinese have authority here?
I'm trying to be hopeful because I really like the manga, but the looking studio is making it difficult for me.
I watched nothing this Chinese studio did so I can't comment, but I am happy for them to get to work on proper anime instead of the chinese manga adaptions they were doing.
I am more worried about the director, I saw nothing of what he made but they all look bad.
>>159065806
I won't be hyped until the first episode shows us Hime's HP getting photographed.

China is not a free country. Laws can and are selectively interpreted and enforced when government officials determine what they think best fits the goals of the ruling party. All it takes is for one regional official to decide to censor something based on "upholding public morals". This could be based on his actual perception or just because he wasn't payed off or given proper respect from the companies involved.
Doing business in China is a balancing act between how much you can enrich the right Chinese nationals legitimately or illegitimately and how much you can get by the communist party.

>Borders and laws don't real.
>tfw no daughters to welcome me home after a long work day
>Chinkshit
Fuck, I was looking forward to it as well.
>>159071793
why do they care about this small studio doing outsource job of an anime little to nobody knows about? There are much bigger targets to go after.
The Chinese seem like mostly just censor political stuffs about China, and skeletons. And it's not like this show is gonna be broadcast on China TV at daylight time
>>159071064
That was more like a chapter 0. I think it was originally a doujin or something. But the first real chapter shows Hime and Nozomi kissing. PV showed fragments from this chapter, so I'm sure it won't be that bad (homosexual acts are banned from Chinese TV).
>>159072746
do they really always censor skeleton artwork ?
>>159072746
>skeletons
Why? Is showing your bones considered rude in China?
>>159072988
Everything is considered rude in China.
>The promotion of “smoking, drinking, fighting and other unhealthy behaviour” is already banned from Chinese TV, while homosexuality is still categorised alongside incest and sexual abuse as “abnormal sexual behaviour” that should not appear on screen. Cleavage should always be kept to a minimum.
>Back in 2011, China’s regulators called for an end to sci-fi dramas that “casually make up myths, have monstrous and weird plots, use absurd tactics and even promote feudalism, superstition, fatalism and reincarnation”. They stated that writers and producers should “by no means be encouraged” to “treat serious history in a frivolous way”.
The only thing they air are costume dramas, because you can't show that modern China has any problems.
Is there anyone here still reading the manga? Is there anything good or is it just weird stuffs like last time I heard?
>>159072935
There is no specific law but many companies just take them out to be safe
>>159073500
It was dropped by the scanlator. There is nothing to read.
>>159073580
It was licensed by Seven Seas, but they only sell paperback copies which is a real pain to buy and ship here
>>159073666
>it was licensed by Seven Seas
>/a/
>buying anything that isn't porn or shitty figures
>>159073729
>>buying anything that isn't porn or shitty figures
>buying porn
Yeah, no
>>159068582
>episode about corrupt Chiense officials getting beheaded by tigermen
>two days later every member of the studio mysteriously disappears

I just want to see more Tama. Just asking if there is any notable volumes
>haoliners
What the fuck, why are the japs so retarded about streaming? a couple of shit shows already made this studio an upcoming powerhouse.
>>159074205
>Antartican was behind it
>lizard people
>intervening with foreign's domestic issues
>>159074422
She is too serious, she makes the manga too realistic and depressing. I like her relationship with that tomboy, but with her attitude I doubt they will form a relationship, even if the author is clearly a yurifag.
>>159072746
They didn't care before but now that chink studios are making serious money with anime streaming and merch, the gov is about to step in and take a huge chunk of it, that's why they're moving their companies to japan or korea.
>>159074858
Are you talking about that chapter when she lectured her father? It was unreasonable, but she learnt from it. She's acting both the older sister and mother's role.
