Anything from before 10 years ago is pretty much forgotten by general audiences.

As far as comedies go, Green Green TV, Jubee-chan Lovely Gantai no Himitsu, Seto no Hanayome, Shinobuden. There's far too many.

It's a TV-show that was created for 90's SD television. BDs aren't gonna magically make the show look better.
Also, the show wasn't very popular, I doubt it'll get BDs at all.

It makes Rave look good, but it also makes people who recognize the mangaka's name less interested in reading series that bear his name. As for what went wrong, he clearly ran out of ideas and started just reusing them over and over.
