I'm most of the way through Kumamiko - Machi's totes adorbs, but just way too sheltered and probably slow.
I want to like the characters or the show, but I just can't muster the fucks to give. Were they fair to country folk, or just plain disrespectful?

Not trying to be ironic. I just begin to suspect this show treats bumpkins the same way big bang theory treats "smart people".
(I totally don't enjoy big bang theory, maybe I'd hate kumamiko more if I was more familiar with the relevant japanese stereotypes)
