What do you think about TV LWA anon ?
I'm not sure which anon you're referring to. I enjoyed the LWA TV anime, though.

Disappointing overall but good endings always make the journey seem meaningful.

Where i can keep track of the upcoming LWA doujin ?
Even though anyone could have predicted the ending from the first episode, it was still great.
Some really good episodes mixed in with some quite bad ones.
Some episodes could have been removed altogether and other episodes/arcs could have been extended and added upon.
So what the fuck was going on with Chariot's hair the whole time? How does that work?
Why was Sucy and Lotte relegated to background duty?
>>158979355
I don't know how planning works but it's clear that a handful of the episodes felt like filler. They could've expanded the story much more with those episodes. Ending was great, especially with the s1 ed. DIANA <3
>>158979355
Not as good as it could've been. Only saved because the characters they already created were fantastic. Akko stole our hearts and the emotional attachment you have to her propels you through what is otherwise a very middling series.
I rather liked it and each Sunday was the highlight of my week, but this show really felt like it didn't know what it wanted to be. That said, Akko is a miracle of the universe. One of the best characters in a long time.

There are no words to describe how badly I want to sniff and lick the little witch buttholes. I want to bury my face between little witch buttcheeks and rub my nose against their anuses while sniffing the lewd scent. The fragrance would be nearly orgasmic on its own, but I would also desire to feel every wrinkle of their buttholes against my tastebuds. Their embarrassed moans wouldn't mask the pleasured panting underneath.

>>158979506
Which is weird because Yoshinari said that the episode count is too small to explore everything he wanted.
He probably has the backgrounds of a lot of things figured out and wants to do something with them, but I have my doubts about his ability to fluently intertwine them into one satisfying story.
I loved it.
Lotte and Sucy really did not get enough development and it felt like they hardly added anything to the final arc.
Seems like a misstep considering how close we get with them in the first half of the show.
Conversely, Diana goes from 'Oujou-sama Side Character' to 'MC Best Friend' in a matter of what, 5 episodes?
Seems like the roles should have been reversed

REMINDER to thank, and apologize, to this nip retard. Without her:
>Chariot would have been forever unredeemed and would have dwelt on the past forever
>Croix would have killed herself after unlocking the Grand Triskelion only to find out it wasn't meant for her, rendering her lifelong dream a waste of time
>Sucy would never have made a friend
>Lotte would have never made it to the Nightfall convention and convince Annabel to keep writing it, also would never have become friends with Barbara
>Costanze would never have opened up, made Gran Charion or spoke
>Amanda would have left Luna Nova
>Jasminka would admittedly be the same
>Diana would have left Luna Nova for good and raped endlessly by her aunt, never becoming the next Head
>H&B would have been left all alone
>Andrew would never have stood up to his dad, Frank would have never met Lotte
>hate nuke would have likely flung the world into WW3, not before bringing Witch Hunts back into style
additionally
>Diana would have slaughtered those butterflies in episode 2
>(((Fafnir))) might have bankrupted Luna Nova
>The endangered fish would have died out
>Vajarois would have never been freed from torment
Akko singlehandedly saved her friends, her world and anime itself. LWA would have been grimdark as fuck without her mere existence.
Really boring. Not surprised the bandwagon here loves it and most likely shit like Madoka, Gatari and KLK.

Character acting is aspect of character animation that conveys a characters personality, emotion, thoughts, feelings and such through movement alone. I'm making an important distinction between "character animation" and "character acting". The former is the all encompassing term for any kind of animating of a character while the latter is the specific definition laid out above that exists within "character animation".
There is a difference between making a character MOVE and making a character ACT.
The common television anime approach to convey character acting is through expressions, not movement. In most TV anime, characters don't articulate through movement, different personalities don't move too differently. In fact, people don't move much at all outside climactic sequences, and there's nothing wrong with that, it's just the reality of production that there's not enough resources to make that happen.

You're right about Jasminka, I love her but she seemed so out of place. Like I don't remember her really getting to do anything, which is a shame.
I think it would have helped a lot if they were shown hanging out more. Doesn't need to be action scenes, but just hanging around as a group while in school, to show they're bonding in some way. Even in the more casual scenes later on, Akko would often be on her lonesome.
Diana ended up being a good character even though I expected not to have interest in her at all, and that's good, but there was no reason she had to overtake the rest. I think the problem is that they didn't seem to give the other characters enough passion of their own, they had no goals to pursue, and they ended up feeling hollow. And I know they're not, but it's been so long since the Sucy episode I keep forgetting the feelings it brought with it.
>>158980488
am i the only one who knows about that march with 10k fucking people protesting about a fucking football match?

I don't think so. The art is surely above average but the plot is very bad. The worldview itself is pretty bad. Andrew practically just a trophy the whole series other than the first episode he appeared. They didn't fully use the potential of Ron and Hermione. Most of the character interaction and development feel so forced. Biggest offender is of course Lotte's episode and even Chariot's and Croix's interaction feel very unnatural. The last episode was so bad that it turn out too be kinda good. I was laughing at how ridiculous it is with all the cheering, streaming and government guys talking, also I lost it at the fucking clothes transformation.

I think that for thematic reasons both Diana and Chariot would work, but Chariot would make more sense. After all, the whole story started with Akko wanting to meet Chariot. So it could have ended with Akko and Chariot together saving the world.
In the same way, in the previous episode Akko and Chariot could have discovered the final Word together. Both of them already found 6 out of 7, so it would make so much sense if they found the 7th one together.

Oh wow I hadn't noticed it was her.
The first half final boss was an ancient outdated tradition nobody bothers to challenge or question. Akko overcame it with Lotte and Sucy's help.
The final boss of second arc and was a technologically advanced missile that had been take over by modern magic that had gone berserk. Akko overcame with Diana's help.
The final episode was pure poetry.

>>158981033
I kind of agree. It was predictable and for once, I didn't feel particularly hyped about it. Both of the Shiny Arcs from the OVAs did it better for me. The one from episode 1 too. I feel like Trigger lacked a lotta foresight with this.

>>158981253

>>158981084
An intricate plot isn't a necessity for a good show. Neither of the OVAs had deep plots, and widely-loved shows like Gurren Lagann mostly use plot as a vehicle for action scenes and character moments. Shows can absolutely be great just by having good execution, strong directing, and likeable characters.
> Most of the character interaction and development feel so forced. Biggest offender is of course Lotte's episode and even Chariot's and Croix's interaction feel very unnatural.
I don't really agree. I thought Croix's mixed feelings of superiority and jealousy, Chariot's guilt, and their lingering affection for one another played pretty well.
>The last episode was so bad that it turn out too be kinda good.
Shows don't have to take themselves seriously to be good. Having a lot of heart can compensate for making a lot of sense, and LWA always had heart. It sounds like that isn't really to your taste, and that's fine, but personally, LWA made me smile more than any anime has in years.
>>158981272
While I disagree on how hype and satisfying the ending was, the journey to it was riddle with potholes and missteps. I feel like maybe some of the writers and Yoshinari had some disagreements on where the series should go and how to handle it. I honestly would've loved it to have been a less episodic series, with some fun filler episodes sprinkled throughout, like the Constanze episode.
>>158981258
Pure pottery. If they can do things like these over and over, why the heck is the overall writing shit?
Now that the dust has settled, what was Yoshinari trying to say with this show?

At a certain point, I figured Akko would uncover the last word and have to fight Croix - especially one of her creations when we learned she was harnessing anger. I find it hard to imagine something better, on the spot, since the whole show is meant to be family friendly.

I effectively stopped using this site after Kill La Kill aired. I realized at one point I only started using 4chan due to having very few good friends in high school, and the fraternity of /a/ partially fulfilled what facebook is to normalfags (I don't have one). Then when the culture changed due to the continuous flood of new users, which I was at one point - of course -, I just couldn't really bare the new 4chan and decided Kill La Kill would be a good last show to watch with /a/. Watching shows with /a/ was part of the fun of anime for me. After that I sparely watched anime as I also realized that I only watched so much anime due to the fun of being a part of /a/. So I stopped caring about the condition of /a/ and just come here every so often. LWA is the first show I kinda watched with /a/ since then, but even then, I only came to a thread every other episode.
You're here for some reason, and once that's gone, you'll stop using the site. I had the same feelings of you before I left. You never truly leave, but the feelings of this place being special go away, you use this site considerably less.
>>158979355
I expected episode 4 and I got the finale. Witch shenanigans that gently build the world and just give the characters a stage to play on would have really been great for the series. Instead we got a 13 episode cour that skirted around Croix's plans/endgame for 11 episodes before shoddily introducing and resolving the end game in 2 whole episodes. Really not sure if I just want off the ride or want S2 as I'm so emotionally involved in this series I just want to see it done right and not sure I ever will.

That came off as really bitter. We got some nice episodes and the show built a lot of things in a way I wasn't expecting and was pleasantry surprised with. I even liked how the finale got to see Akko get a kickass broom and learning to fly. I also think losing Shiny Rod was a really nice touch as normally those things are normally the spoils for the hero where in this case it cemented it's role as tool only to be used in crisis. It's a shame we won't (probably) get to see the ramifications of both flight/loss or rod on Akko in a second season.

Not as hard as Megumi Han, who gradually brainwashed all of Trigger through her twitter spergouts sessions.
>who's broadcasting this?
So who was broadcasting Akko and the others? It wasn't Croix or her renegade cubes but who?

That's right, Sucy and Lotte, know your place. Let the inheritors of Woodward and Beatrix get the job done.

Spooky Witch Academia OVA when?
The fact the the first wonderful ending theme plays in the end is something I love.

How? The last episode was everything I ever wanted out of LWA and probably has the best animated and directed action episodr Trigger has ever made.

There we're some hit and miss ones but I can't remember what number they we're so i'll just say this show had some bad episodes and it was boring in between but the finale fixed it for me because now i'll miss the show.

>>158982456
She can't resist her own butt.
>>158982769
You better post it if you have it.
Job well done Trigger, everything your hands touch is gold.
>Akko and Diana are supposed to parallel Chariot and Croix
>Chariot and Croix are gay as hell
Really makes me think.
Lotte is truly a gift from god
>>158982876

The last episode was perfect.
It is such a shame that this show is now over.
>>158982869
>Arigatou Shiny Roddo
That fucking line got me. It was an amazing conclusion to the nonstop action before.
So why did the legendary broom come back for Akko?
>>158983005
That was expected
>>158983005
Because it could tell it would look cool. Maybe it read the script
>>158983005

Respect and gratitude for freeing it from it's bindings.

I am very glad it's a flop because it deserves it
>>158981910
The nude akko on the far right of the card is too lewd. LWA is wholesome.
