It has its own story, and although the main story isn't that interesting as a whole, stuff like Sonoko + Tougou meeting their younger selves + Gin had its potential used. It also has all the story arcs of the series, including NoWaYu, in scenarios with voiced cutscenes. Kinda hoping Geah has a lot of voice work too, but the fact alone it will have different sprites for the main characters's alt weapons makes me prefer it to YuYuYu's repetitive battles.

I don't know, I really don't get the hate. Maybe it's more enjoyable if you can watch multiple episodes at once?

The only letdown for G was Miku's Gear. it was over in one episode. Something people were probably hoping for since the very beginning and something that legit sent chills when she appeared in it and proceeded to stomp face, but it was introduced and discarded far too quickly.

I think GX was the hardest on Hibikifags, she became the manly hero yet we were treated to a season of her daddy issues, then topdad became the comedic shitbag yet we were treated to a shallow fucking redemption arc. It still had more bad than good, but the bad was pretty awful.

Yeah, the entire "m-muh fater" subplot was garbage. Not to mention topdad had a sudden 180 change in character withing like 2 minutes.

The writing in Symphogear isn't exactly stellar. I'd say GX's main flaw was trying too hard to be serious when the writer clearly wasn't up to the task. It spent too much time on sub-par story and writing, and not enough time on cheesy musical action scenes. The outlandish antagonists have me cautiously optimistic that AXZ won't repeat the mistakes of GX, but we'll see.

The big problem with GX is that it has most of the same problems as G does but none of the charm. It just doesn't manage to write its way around the glaring faults. I mean watching the entire script of the show be so obviously fucked up by a terrible beach episode is infuriating and basically ruined the entire show.
Also watching the topdad shit as someone with actual family issues is legitimately insulting.

I've been listening to the songs all week to make sure I was prepared for the new season. It's Symphogeah, so I'm HYPE.

IMO, Tsubasa's part of the drama made the most sense out of everyone else's. Kinda explains why Tsubasa's way of thinking is so fucked up.
I don't think Tsubapapa really hated Tsubasa. He just made her go away because he wanted her to chase her dreams, which Tsubasa took in a wrong way. Then in the middle of the episode Tsubasa explained where she came from and what she understood from what Yatsuhiro did. At the ending she understood what his dad truly wanted to happen thanks to Maria.
Way more better than the stupid drama DMJii had and the Kouhai drama Chris got for no good reason at all.

I think what they were trying to do in her episode was really cool, having her acknowledge her weaknesses and then womanning up to get the first autoscorer kill. That could have been her thing, maybe learning how to go from from gungnir stronk to taking advantage of the more delicate airgetlam while she was at it.

It was just the execution that was botched. She went from "IM STRONG SO I'LL WIN" to "IM WEAK SO I'LL WIN" with no discernable reason why that should help, also the autoscorers losing on purpose was poisonous to the narrative

It can take a while after touch to start. I think the server's just overloaded with new registrations. Try again, wait a minute or two after touching, etc.

You get enough gems to do an 11 roll straight up. 5% 5 star, 20% 4 star, 75% 3 star.
There's like a hundred cards, very bottom left of the gacha screen has a button which shows the available cards and percentages.

Remember to swipe right on the gacha screen for the friendship point gacha (one free a day) for XP cards and the like.
