The story is in a weird place because it has elements of edginess, but is overall too corny and wacky for me to imagine it going too far in that direction.

They can't kill any good guys with how the story is right now. If a student got murdered that'd be the end of UA and the end of the story entirely. All Might has so many death flags that it feels like his character is meant to dodge all of them and make it to the very end of the story. They will absolutely kill a major villain soon enough though, and taking a life is going to be a huge deal for whoever does it.

Yeah, this would be good to see. If he really wants to follow in his brother's footsteps, he needs to be able to step up as a leader.

It'd be a good niche for him in the cast as well; Bakugo's a genius combatant, but lacks the inclination or temperament to lead others. Deku has strong analytical skills and is great at inspiring others, but I don't think I'd say he's the most organized person, or a real long-term planner. Iida's already shown that he has the mindset too effectively organize people, but he needs to work on being able to do that on a more personal level and not just defaulting to rules that are in place.

Grape will only ever become a pro hero is he fights low level mooks in a place where there isn't many Heroes. Physically, he's even weaker and slower than the girls of the series.
