MC-kun is transferred to a future where people routinely enter battles against eachother for guts and glory, everyone looks like a loli up to high school student because humanity has managed to halt ageing and everyone has a pet catgirl. As it goes on it's revealed that this world is essentially Japan's solution to the problem of low breeding rates. Catgirls have been produced in a lab via an initial genetic engineering of political prisoners, who were then forcefully bred to produce cute catgirls who, through brainwashing over centuries (to the point it's now ingrained deeply in their psyche), want nothing but to please their masters. Cats, of course, were chosen for their "in heat" cycles, willingness to fuck things with barbed penises (so higher pain tolerance) and for their popculture relevance.

The fights are to get testosterone pumping, and are actually just products of government illusion, essentially wish fulfilment. At the end of the day, the world is actually a dystopic hellhole where people are being manipulated as breeding stock to solve everything.
