It's a very nostalgic anime up to a few chapters after the gang is complete but afterwards it's the same thing over and over again, and the manga isn't better.

I liked the ending, tho.

I can't imagine a time where I don't know what anime this is. How can someone of not seen this already or even heard of it? It's fucking InuYasha. It starts out really really good and hits a lull that is not complete garbage and has a concise ending at the end of it all.
Despite the length and repetition it's still better than most 12 episode light novel adaptations we get today.
