Early Senjougahara wanted to be left alone because of her problems and was aggressive to anyone who tried hard to get close to her. Even her banter isn't nearly as sharp as Senjougahara ever was and ends up being much just awkwardly playful.

Though if I consider another layer, being with Araragi would probably mean getting out of individual focus, which is the main aspect of Senjougara's "blandness".
