Think you're overestimating Kei. He talks about justice and being right but there's no doubt he has his own desires which may not always be right. I think that scene was more his own feelings rather than his ideals, which caused him to act the way he did in those 2 years following souma's death.

Well it didn't advance the main story but character development is hardly "filler".

That was a weird episode, all this deal with Michiru and Chiru-Chiru acting as a god while talking with Sumire inside the dream world was really confusing. I really don't know if Sumire is alive at this point and hiding from everyone just to not being foun by the administration.

I guess that we're not going to be able to see Sumire back to Kei's side soon enough, about Haruki looks like her feelings are one-sided because Kei just have eyes for Sumire while Haruki is still "a friend" for him. Also that monster, so that's the reason why nobody can go out at night, for me it looks like a reflection of Michiru's dark side.

Quite an interesting episode, can't wait to see how this arc is going to end.

That wasn't what I expected considering what happened in the episode 10, basically the episode 11 can be summarized as "Haruki realize that she loves Kei even after knowing that for a long time".

It is not a bad episode, at all, but certainly something anticlimatic after how amazing was the previous one. I wonder what's going to be Kei's reaction if haruki does something to change their relationship, to me it seems like Kei likes Sumire more than anything.

Been really good ever since apart from Haruki's autistic adventure. Up until then it was only above average, apart from the first episode which left a bad taste in the mouth, only because it ended in a bad spot and wasn't a double length.
As soon as they stopped carrying out about the Macguffin it turned good instantly. Ironic considering what a macguffin is.

No, I'm afraid. The autism levels are off the charts all the time but it's no Samurai Flamenco. So far it's better than Charlotte and that was a trainwreck. It's the biggest missed opportunity of the season for me.

Before I switched from HS to GJM I didn't understand a few sentences per episode. Usually the sentences were just hard to understand, but in a few cases they made no sense.
