Get some of those cold compress things for sports injuries and throw them in the freezer. When it's time for bed, take them out and wrap a towel around them. Then get in bed and put one in each armpit, wrap one around your neck, and put one between your legs. You want the compresses to be directly on major arteries for the best effect. The towels should be thick enough to prevent you from getting frost bite while transferring most of the cold to your body. This is a silent and very efficient way of cooling off and being able to sleep.
