when the LN author wrote it, origionally the MC had lived with Sagiri as a total stranger, having said 2 words to each other since their parents married. The LN author retconned it in later volumes to explain why the pedophile MC isn't a creepy pedophile, by stating they lived together as a family for 1 year before the parents died.


BTW: both timelines suck because the first timeline would have us believe that Sagiri is an accomplished LN illustrator by the time she's 11yo, and the MC is an accomplished LN author by the time he's 15 whereas the 2nd timeline would have us believe the MC is an accomplished LN author by the time he's 14, and sagiri is an accomplished LN illustrator when she's 10.
