well I guess you stopped near or after the pain arc. Yeah Naruto shippuden is pretty good at the end if you can watch it through it quickly with a filler guide. When the naruto manga ended they pulled of 2 years of filler episodes with sometimes 1/2 canon episodes. The last 2 fights of the series are done way better in the anime than the manga.

Also the end of shippuden has some extra novels animated like itachi, sasuke and shikamaru episodes + some sort of ending to shippuden that the manga never had. There are also 2 movies that are canon and came out.

If I were you and you have some time it is worth investing some time in if you skip the fillers. The new boruto manga and anime series is also good so far. The only bad thing about the end of shippuden is the amount of power-ups and asspulls compared to the rest of naruto and shippuden

Not him, but it's a great fight. Ignore the stupid trolling about height and whatever else. Actually, the best versions of the fight aren't the anime. The sound drama and manga both do it better. I wouldn't call any of it "the best" of its medium, but I wouldn't call anything "the best" of a medium.
