May largely refused to meet the public and promised more of the same plus shit policies like a "death tax" and unbanning fox hunting. Corbyn meanwhile, held rallies and promised jobs, investment in public services and a new house building program.

The only reason Corbyn didn't win was the fact that he started on such a low base, it was very hard to really legitimise himself in eight short weeks. The way things are heading, he'll take power soon though.
