There are a billion people in China.
If you believe your self to be a one in a million, there's thousand others just like you.

>China will overtake Japan from making cartoons
>with this quality
Well its not really "anime" if its chinese
We need another Nanking
>>158641450
>Chinese anime
No such thing. Not /a/, fuck off.
>>158642121
>implying /a/ can tell the difference between Chinese and Japanese anime
>>158642148
If it looks fucking shit, then it's Chinese.
>>158641450
They are trying to do these "making web novels into anime" shit, but the Chinese web novels, especially the popular ones, are mostly pure garbage.
>>158642120
is rwby any good if you ignore the shitty animation?
Give them 25 years and if China still exists they'll have reached a tolerable level of quality.
>>158641450
It's called cartoons not anime.
>>158642017
To be fair, this is nothing compared to the levels of quality Japan pulls on a regular basis. Look at Rail Wars with its cars parked up trees and rooftops, or that one anime with the incredibly fucked perspective on those two girls in the water at the beach, or the entirety of Dragonball Super prior to the Goku Black arc.

welp its because Japs make cartoons on an industrial scale for decades now while Chink animation is just starting to get traction

China has been providing the global surplus in goods for the best part of half a century now and their physical products are still legendary for being terribly made.
The whole point is they make stuff cheaply and not well.

To be fair, in terms of electronics China is today what Japan was in the 70s. Japan also spent a good deal of its post-WW2 era making cheap knock-offs of Western products.
The only difference is that Japan, as a liberal democracy, had an easier time transitioning to a society with a booming middle class based on the Western model. In Communist China sooner or later the middle class will butt heads with the communist party, and either China will democratize or its economy will collapse unless the Chinese government manages to enforce really shitty wages (which it might as well do), meaning China will remain the cheap knock-off product country forever.
Whatever happens, the "Asian Century" will be an interesting one.

they have a big real estate bubble too that will soon collapse in the near future. Oh boy I cant wait for the inevitable happening as I can finally see the CCP collapse on my generation
