But it was a pleasant surprise, hard to put down once I'd gotten started on it.

This twist fucked me up pretty bad. Also all the fuckery with Jack and Glen. Overall this series really is a hidden gem.

I watched the anime of this but it was gay and confusing. the soundtrack was nice though.

Í think I need to re read this at some point, the manga made so many references back to previous chapters that there would be a point in reading it in a day or two instead of over a few years.

Definitely one of my favourite manga! I remember reading at the beginning and thinking how I can already predict how it's going to end. Boy have I ever been more wrong! Everything turned upside down. Stunningly beautiful drawing style too.

I dropped it around 2 years ago. How is the plot now?

I dropped it at one point too. The plot was moving along very slowly and translations made it hard to follow. I picked it up again before the manga ended and didn't regret it. What a ride.

Pretty good manga, was sad when it ended. [spoilers]I wouldn't have minded if Oz and Alice ended up together, but I was happy their relationship ended on a platonic note.[/spoilers] Also it's a shame about the anime because it didn't do the series justice, I feel like all the budget went towards the music and VAs.
