This is true. Even the creator of Your Name said that the movie was incomplete shit and urged people to avoid watching it. He still wanted to work on it for an additional 1-2 years but the production team wanted to release it for profit.

This is true. Kyoani at its finest. Not gonna talk about animation though, since this movie was barely animated. Mostly stills and minimum animations, but still pretty great visuals.

Said nobody. If there's anything good /a/ said about this show, it was about being a satisfying adaptation of the manga (most adaptations are shit) or that Kyoani finally made something good again after years of failure. That's it.
