Celica's plot is one of the best things in this series, not kidding that immortality shit behind her sounds like a good read
Attempting to adapt 5 volumes in 12 episodes is a mistake. They should have learned with anti-magic, at least 3 volumes would have sufficed and it would have maintained the quality of the first few episodes.
