I'd take a 26 or even 13 episode season just to adapt the Herb and Saffron arcs. Due to being action focused they'd really benefit from animated versions. And then any remaining episodes for random comedic stories, like the mirror clones and Koi Rod of love

What a shit meme. Ranma was good before and is still good now. /a/ deserve more Ranma and me too. Continuation sounds good, well... they would still be in the 16 years old. You know, years passed but not their age XD. This show was a episodic action-martial art slice of life with some small argumental arcs and good characters. A continuation is pretty factible.

Rinne kind of suffers due to being even more episodic than Ranma though. There are no larger arcs at all. They sometimes fit three stories in a single episode this season.

Only if it won't follow manga. /a/ tricked me into reading, and whole manga seems like cliche filler story, characters are one gag. It was charming, but boring.

I suppose it was better when it was fresh, mostly because so many mangakas were inspired by Ranma, that everything was already used (like that misdirediction gag)

Also I find it interesting, how Kagura is literally girl ginger Ranma, but without boobs. (and her interactions with Okita are basically Ranma - Ryoga)

I recently decided to rewatch a bit of Ranma 1/2 out of nostalgia. It definitely wasn't as bad as some people are saying but it's nowhere near as good when I was a kid. Taking into account the fact that some of the ideas definitely were original when it came out it doesn't change the fact that most of it is straight up boring bullshit.

The only time the series gets really good is when it's introducing new characters to the audience. Ranma 1/2 is like having the exact same meal, three times a day, every day. So when you add a new ingredient, it definitely adds something fresh and enjoyable. But because you're having it for every meal even the new stuff becomes bland and boring.

The problem with the latter seasons is that a large majority of them are 'filler'. Which normally, I wouldn't mind in a series like Ranma, but the problem is that it's not nearly as good as some of the content in the manga.
